AUGUST MEETING

The August Meeting of the Isis Area 41 Club will be an Aunt Sally Match against Isis Tangent for the ITCH Challenge Cup. This will take place at the White Hart at Minster Lovell on Tuesday 10th August starting at 7pm onwards.  Bookings are being handled by Andrew Cooper. Book in via the Bookings System. Partners of Isis 41 and Isis Tangent all welcome. Price £15 per head. If we can get sufficient numbers it will be a barbeque!

JULY MEETING

Stefan Thomas The Kings Head and Bell in Abingdon was the setting for the 2010 Isis Area 41 Club Chairman's Night. 17 members and guests attended the evening where the Guest Speaker was Stefan Thomas of 'No Red Braces' who spoke enthusiastically on 'Social Networking'. Founder Chairman  - Terry Cooper introduced him and Vice-Chairman - Spencer Clubb gave the Vote of Thanks.
Chairman Andrew Cooper presented the outgoing Chairman - David Lang with his Past Chairman's Jewel and a small picture to put in place of the Club Charter that moves from Chairman to Chairman.
Robert Patterson gave an 'eloquent' Appreciation Speech about David's year.
The raffle was run by Jeremy Russ, and the Sergeant at Arms was Martin Green.
The Club were very pleased to welcome back members Jonathon Meredith and Roger Worall.
An excellent meal was served with typical Isis fun and fellowship.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING - OFFICERS

The Annual General Meeting took place on Tuesday 20th April 2010 at the Kings Head & Bell in Abingdon. 14 members attended.

The Club agreed to change its name back to Isis Area 41 Club. It was agreed that the Club needed a purpose and as a result an enhanced Committee was elected. It was hoped that a renewed sense of purpose would invigorate attendance.
